Hoj House

Hoj House is an extension and refurbishment of a four storey townhouse in Stoke Newington, Hackney, London.

Our client’s brief was to create a Scandinavian-inspired, minimal-feeling ‘room in the garden’ for focussed dining. The concept was to wrap a contrasting extension in greenery though the inclusion of a wildflower roof and external bio planter. The remodelled lower ground floor links the front of the property to back, with finishes blurring the lines between inside and out and the organic elements embed a lifestyle of growing directly into the building fabric.
